Major governing bodies of world martial arts organizations gathered to form a consultative body through a Memorandum of Understanding on May 17th, 2021.
With this agreement held at the International Center for Martial Arts in Chungju World Martial Arts Park, the Korean Martial Arts Federation (KMAF), the World Martial Arts Union (WoMAU), the UNESCO International Center for Martial Arts (ICM), and the World Martial Arts Masterships Committee (WMC) will cooperate in various martial arts projects for future developments including the promotion and preservation of traditional martial arts from around the world to disseminate the harmony of values in culture, peace and reconciliation.
